      That's true.

Plus, there are enough of lipsticks with a gloss similar cease!

        Yeah, you're right!

I vote for both, they both take their place and I honey them equally. 🙂

      What are fave lipsticks/glosses, Kiwikiwidragon?

  • September 20th, 2011 at 10:01 am

A nice glossy lip perks up whatever face.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 10:02 am

I tend to favor glosses in warm atmospheric condition (they won't melt in my pocketbook!) and lipsticks in cold weather (particularly if they tend to be more moisturizing).

    • September 20th, 2011 at x:34 am

I'k with Amanda. Though I remember I article of clothing lip balm more than either lipstick or gloss, especially in the cold weather. 🙂

  • September 20th, 2011 at 10:16 am

I stone both of them…simultaneously or each solo. Depends on how I experience and how much I'grand rushing to leave the door in the morning…

  • September 20th, 2011 at x:eighteen am

I usually wear gloss, simply for some special events my red hot lipstick is my all-time asset. Information technology brightens my day and makes me look fresh.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 11:07 am

Honestly I wearable both as. I love a good gloss that isn't too sticky. I call up the best I've found then far is the L'Oreal Le Gloss (dear texture, smell, colour, feeling, long lasting, moisturizing). But sometimes I like how sheer a good lipstick feels, ya know!

  • September 20th, 2011 at eleven:12 am

I go through my phases. With the libation weather, it's commonly lipstick and the warmer months is usually gloss.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 11:xiv am

I agree with Amanda that I use lipgloss in warmer weather and lipstick in libation atmospheric condition. I actually do prefer lipstick. I just don't desire it to melt.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 11:17 am

Lip gloss all the way. They make your lip looks juicy !

  • September 20th, 2011 at eleven:26 am

I used to love lipsticks for years growing upwards cause I felt glossy lips were too attention grabbing for me. Then I transitioned to lipglosses a year agone when I became more confident. Now I'm sort of heading dorsum into lipsticks crusade I love the new formulations that have been coming out recently(& there'south so many of them!).

  • September 20th, 2011 at 11:40 am

I usually go for a gloss, it'south quicker and easier to apply, merely if I'grand gonna need information technology to concluding awhile, I'll do lipstick or a lipstain, and top it with gloss. But, always gloss!

  • September 20th, 2011 at xi:41 am

    Lip lotion over a lipstain!

  • September 20th, 2011 at xi:43 am

Definitely glosses! They requite lips a lovely shine and they are quicker to employ. But I similar lipsticks too.

gloss for sure. either that or tinted lipbalms!

  • September 20th, 2011 at 12:13 pm

Honest.. I own many and many lipsticks merely the only matter that I wear is actually lipgloss. The smooth of a gloss makes my lips and my whole mouth look bigger.

Oh dear, lipstick or gloss. How can I mayhap choose? That is so Sophie'southward Choice :).

I gues at work, I'd say lipstick, since that's more advisable for the government/D.C. setting. When I'm doing my makeup for myself, going out for fun, I tend to reach more for the glosses.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 12:sixteen pm

I like both but I prefer glosses. They are a bit more than versatile for me. I can pop them on with no liner and go. With lipsticks I tend to experience like I'thousand wearing an unfinished lip if I don't add a lip liner or gloss when I put it on. I have a few that I feel comfy wearing solo, and then of grade those are my become to's for everyday looks.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 12:17 pm

Glossy lips makes a girl feel pretty right down to the last touch… teeth look great too.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 12:20 pm

Lip gloss! My lips get dry actually easily and frequently, and I admittedly hate the feeling of lipstick on dry lips. Gloss is just a lot more comfortable for me.

  • September 20th, 2011 at one:24 pm

Been wearing lipsticks with a layer of gloss for most of the past year, peculiarly since glosses come up with a lot more gold and other color shimmer options than in the past. I tend to favor glosses overall, when I need to choose one versus the other.

  • September 20th, 2011 at one:32 pm

Lip gloss all the mode! I clothing lipstick for special occasions simply.

  • September 20th, 2011 at ane:46 pm

I used to wear zilch but lip gloss, just I take recently fallen in love with the archetype looks that tin can be hands accomplished with lipstick. I never get out the business firm with at to the lowest degree ane of each.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 1:52 pm

If I had to stick to i for life I'd go with lipstick, simply I similar both and apply them regularly 🙂

  • September 20th, 2011 at 1:54 pm

I would have to say both! I do dearest the sophisticated feel of pulling out a gorgeous lipstick (hello, Chanel!!). If I want a low maintenance look, I'll just whip out a gloss. But I must acknowledge, oft I vesture both 🙂

  • September 20th, 2011 at 2:35 pm

Lipstick! My lips aren't super pigmented so gloss doesn't do much for me.

My favorite make is wet n wild mega last. They may be cheap, but they're awesome! You've got to endeavour them!

  • September 20th, 2011 at three:10 pm

Gloss all the style! Or tinted balms. Anything sheer, so I can utilise it without a mirror and not come away looking like a clown hooker.

  • September 20th, 2011 at three:20 pm

Lip lotion all the style! I like the ones with fun scents, or tinted ones if I want a little more of a pop! Stains are adept besides, but I hate how they feel drying….

  • September 20th, 2011 at 5:27 pm

    I voted, other.
It's considering I'm a fan of the hybrids. I don't care for pure glosses… unremarkably non enough colour, wears off too fast… and I don't care for pure lipsticks… seriously the lipstick olfactory property makes me gag. And then what about lipsticks that are more like lipglosses and lipglosses that are more similar lipsticks. What e'er that category is… that's the ane I vote for!! Anything that pushes up in a stick form but doesn't odour similar lipstick with lots of colour but non so much color that I demand a lip liner and xx min in forepart of a mirror!

  • September 20th, 2011 at 6:42 pm

detest gloss. I don't like the artful of shiny lips. I just don't think it'southward bonny at all, at least on me.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 7:10 pm

I like both together, really! (Although for daytime purposes, usually gloss). The Urban Decay lipstick and lipgloss in Peroxide look Beautiful together. <3 I love the silverish shimmer in the gloss.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 7:20 pm

I'm going to have to go with lipgloss- just I wear lipstick, as well. My collection is growing! More often than not, it's both; I dear wearing a lipstick with a gloss over information technology! It takes away the dry feeling that lipsticks ordinarily give me.

  • September 20th, 2011 at seven:53 pm

For the longest time, I was strictly lipgloss. I actually hated my lip shape and felt lipglosses made my oral fissure await prettier. Weird, right?

At present, I'm all most those wine, burgundy, red, even bright pink lips. I changed my hair color to a warm brunette and information technology seems my perception of color has changed with everything.

The 1 habit I can not do is, a lipgloss over a lipstick. I feel its way too much and the color never lasts. Its either one or the other, never both.

  • September 20th, 2011 at 8:06 pm

Why do we have to cull? I but desire a dainty color… 😛

  • September 20th, 2011 at 11:12 pm

I'm more of a lip stain + chapstick kinda gal!

  • September 20th, 2011 at 11:49 pm

gloss 🙂 It looks natural and tasty on my lips

  • September 21st, 2011 at 12:49 am

I am every bit fond to gloss and lipstick. I always have a pocket full of lippies. I work every bit a nurse and while at piece of work my routine by and large starts off with the application of lipstick with a similar tone of lip gloss stashed in my pocket for on the wing mirror less touch ups, as I hate the feeling of dry lips. Nosotros nurses talk A LOT and it's pretty like shooting fish in a barrel to feel "dried out." During more coincidental days, I gloss it up. Days I desire to experience more than put together I vesture lipstick. I am happy that I have a unique neutral coloring that I can wear many colors. This incorporated with my lack of "colour fearfulness" makes lipstick/lip gloss utilization incredibly fun for me. My BF ever laughs at how my bad blues days are cured by simply ownership a lip colour. Considering of this I own an arsenal!!!

    • September 22nd, 2011 at 4:42 am

if simply i could buy a lipstick when i;thou distressing too! i'd feel great 😀

  • September 21st, 2011 at 3:18 am

Information technology depends on my mood or the look I'1000 going for or even sometimes the weather (If i'g wearing my hair downwards and information technology's blustery I do not want to exist wearing gloss!)

Quite frequently I like a combination of lipstick and gloss, my favourite combo at the moment is Nars Dloce Vita lipstick and Turkish Delight Gloss.

  • September 21st, 2011 at 4:17 am

In the summer, I usually opt for lipglosses, they are more than lightweight and effortless… just on the whole, I prefer lipsticks more. Nowadays they have then many formulations, and they don't await 'sometime' or outdated at all (like nude lipstick with a satin finish, for instance): Also, they are more even, they are stronger in color, they are more than lasting… and they don't have that jelly type of feeling when I wear them… and also, I hate when my hair gets stuck in the glosses (vene if I'm not running/hurrying).

  • September 21st, 2011 at 5:37 am

At the moment I'd say lipstick. Tough question:D

  • September 21st, 2011 at viii:26 am

I love lip gloss and idea that would be my choice, but when I think about information technology (and these are serious decisions to be made here), with my very pigmented lips, if I ever wanted a nude color I'd have to vesture a lipstick. I enjoy layering lipsticks as well. And if I wanted the color to exist shiny, I'd apply my Jack Black lip balm – problem solved!

  • September 21st, 2011 at 8:43 am

I prefer lip gloss for most days during the week equally I wear minimal or natural makeup looks and feel that lipstick can brand me look overdone. When I do a full confront of makeup I always get for lipstick and utilise a bit of drinking glass on top. I need to reapply lipstick in front end of a mirror and sometimes become lazy so I tend to commonly reapply lip gloss instead.

  • September 21st, 2011 at 9:27 am

I voted lipstick, because I seem to be in a lipstick buying frenzy! Only I like lipstick with a little fleck of gloss:)

  • September 21st, 2011 at x:50 am

I always habiliment both, a lipstick with a matching gloss on top.

  • September 22nd, 2011 at four:39 am

i usually clothing neither but lipgloss is abrasive because hair gets stuck to information technology, it looks gross if you lot eat and it comes off easily. the only downside of (some) lipsticks is that they highlight my flaky(i'm to blame for that cuz i don't go out them be:))) lips. but a good moisturizing lipstick is perfect(like my maybelline colour sensational) tho it's not long lasting merely i don't mind that much.

  • September 23rd, 2011 at 5:04 am

Totally a seasonal thing. I love lipstick in Fall and Winter. It just seems more formal, somehow. Spring and summer it's all about the gloss. Stuff one in my pocket and I'm off!

  • September 24th, 2011 at 8:28 pm

I dear lip gloss. I have and so many. Unlike nearly people, the stickier the amend. When it's sticky, the gloss lasts longer.
I vesture full on smoky or a dark eye shadow with lite colored lip gloss.
    I can't have enough glosses!

  • September 25th, 2011 at vii:50 pm

I like sheer lipstick with some shine. I used to dear lipstick, merely now I think it looks harsh, dries out my lips and tin can bleed into my liplines. Gloss is only too shiny and pasty. A tinted lip lotion is the best.
